Beautifully written. I'm definitely in the creative blocks exist camp. Dandelions turn into clocks eventually where children make wishes. Dandelions aren't weeds, they are desires blowing in the wind. A creative block is a desire holding onto a stem. One day it'll be freed. I'll see if I can join the workshop. I did a numerology course with Meg. Big fan.
So well-put, Claire. I love your suggestion to think of blocks as desires waiting to be freed - what a beautiful addition to this exploration. Thank you!
And would love to see you on Sunday - replay will arrive next week in any case :)
Excellent essay. It's unfortunate how we're conditioned to see things like dandelions (and blocks) negatively when really they hold so much power. It reminds me of my 3-year-old niece who, a few months ago, upon seeing a field of dandelions, said, "This is my life... all these flowers."
I often marvel at the vibrant, stubborn strength of dandelions in my garden. Sometimes they win. Also, in recent times Strength has been my tarot talisman. Thanks for entwining these images in your wise words.
This was such an interesting way to put a spin on creative block that I have never really thought of. Thank you!
Ahhh thank you Sophie!
Loved this and couldn't agree more, and what a beautiful way to lead us through this idea. Thank you!
Thanks for reading, Susannah! Appreciate you 🙏🙏🙏

Also just realised i made a grave error in not rhyming dandelion clocks and creative blocks anywhere in this piece :(
Oh dam!! Well now you have.

I love the idea of Strength as “emotional openness” ✨
I loved this SO much. SO SO MUCH. I also really loved hearing you read it 🧡🧡
