I like your phrase "drags the body toward the belief". I am going to "muse" about the stigma of the hunchback and whether that relates to intuition as a hunch. Our intuitions may be stigmatized by a community that doesn't want to hear difficult information.
Thanks Jendi! A very compelling direction to take this in… it brings to mind the archetypal crone for me - we often see her with a hunched posture, or bent over her cauldron… and there’s the classic narrative question of whether to fear or seek out her cunning.
