Free tarot events for creatives this winter
Including a winter journaling workshop and a Q+A with tarot author Meg Jones Wall
Hi little coven. I’ve got some very exciting things coming your way as the year comes to a close, including:
two new essays (one on being a “shadow artist” and another on Winter as the Season of Care)
fresh Creative Arcana interviews with some of my favorite creators
exclusive winter tarot offers
access to my annual Big Fool Energy Goal Setting Workshop for Creatives.
And… some special events I want to tell you about in this letter…
Today I’m dropping you a quick line so you can mark your calendars for two special December events here at The Shuffle - both are completely free and open to everyone.
You can find details on what’s in store and how to register for each event below:
Winter Wind-Down Tarot Journaling Session
When: Sunday 3 December, 6pm GMT / 1pm EST / 11am PST
How long: 1 hour, with optional mingling time after
What we’ll do: A gentle session to guide you through reflecting on the year past and centering yourself ahead of 2024. We’ll kick off with a short meditation, then I’ll provide an exclusive tarot spread and prompts, plus a charming winter soundtrack while we journal in community together. Then there will be time after our journaling session to share, mingle, and chat tarot for anyone who who would like to stick around.
This event is open to ALL subscribers, free of charge. Those of you subscribed to the paid tier will also get an exclusive Winter Wind-Down workbook featuring additional spreads tarot spreads and prompts.
A recording will be provided for those who can’t attend live. Note the recording will be archived behind a paywall after 6 weeks.
Q+A with Tarot Author Meg Jones Wall (@3am.tarot)
When: Sunday 10 December, 6pm GMT / 1pm EST / 11am PST
How long: 1 hour
What we’ll do: Discuss Meg’s book, Finding the Fool: A Tarot Journey to Radical Transformation. Meg will share her writing process, tips for tarot readers seeking a deeper relationship with the tarot, and other insights from the book. Meg is running a brilliant container for creatives this November, so I’m also excited to talk all things tarot and creativity more broadly.
You do not have to have finished, or even read the book to participate - if you’re curious about Meg, their tarot work, or the book, you are more than welcome to join us!
This event is open to ALL subscribers, free of charge, as part of the ongoing Tarot Readers’ Book Club.
A recording will be provided for those who can’t attend live. Note the recording will be archived behind a paywall after 6 weeks.
I can’t wait to share these moments in community with you.
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about these events or anything else regarding your subscription, or The Shuffle more broadly - I’d love to hear from you.
